THE PARIS AIR SHOWELBIT SYSTEMSFor almost a decade, Elbit Systems has relied on Telemedia to handle the content and production of impressive presentations for the prestigious Paris Air Show. Constantly innovating, Telemedia has developed new and exciting exhibition solutions, repeatedly making Elbit Systems the “star of the show” -setting it apart from its competitors and positioning it as a leader in its field. These presentations combine special projection, lighting and sound technologies with live actors and other physical elements, resulting in a memorable visitor experience. More importantly, they deliver key Elbit Systems content to potential clients and other audience members – helping the company generate important business.
2011 – UAS Dominance and WAAPSLive actors interacted with images and characters projected on a wraparound rear-screen as well as floating holographic foreground images, presenting debriefings on two complex combat scenarios that highlighted the role played by advanced Elbit Systems Unmanned Aerial Systems and Wide Area Aerial Persistent Surveillance products in achieving victory and saving lives. 2009 – C4ISTARThis presentation combined a live, operational IMC command post on a levitating pneumatic stage with live actors interacting with floating holographic images. It showed this Elbit Systems product in action in a complex, riveting joint operational scenario and traced its advanced command and control capabilities from the high command level down to the troops in the field. 2007 – Mission DebriefingA mission debriefing between an air force wing commander and a pilot returning from a mission behind enemy lines created a sense of dialogue with the VIP audience. A 12 meter concave screen, three hi-res projectors, 3D animations and a huge 6m meter hologram screen showing the fighter aircraft’s cockpit were combined to achieve an unparalleled sense of visual realism. Presented from the pilot’s point of view, this presentation highlighted the benefits of Elbit Systems products to the end-user. 2005 – Virtual CockpitThis breakthrough presentation demonstrated Elbit Systems products in action by using an interactive virtual cockpit that allowed viewers to choose from various scenarios and view them “through the eyes of the pilot”. It featured multi-layered screening technologies, including seamless HD to display the outside world and a holographic (Pepper Ghost) effect for the cockpit interior. This outstanding marketing tool has been screened at air shows worldwide. 2003 – “The Five Mighty Powers”Frustrated by endless reports of war and terrorism he sees on TV, an air force pilot is invited by an mysterious female character to enter “her world”. There, he receives the “Five Mighty Powers” that hold the key to modern combat – each representing a major Elbit Systems product line. This unique exhibit was presented on 3 panoramic rear screens, 3 more screens for supplementary images and a half-mirrored front screen where holographic 3D images made the characters appear to be actually standing before the audience. From its first screening, this presentation became a major attraction at the world’s leading air show. 2011 - UAS Dominance![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Mission Debriefing |
